OD Rules Prohibit Vinyl Cockpit Coaming Trim

My 31-year old Etchells has white vinyl trim installed around the raw edge of the cockpit coaming. As far as I know, it was put on by the builder. In any event, it was on there when I bought the boat. Do most boats have a similar cockpit trim material installed around the edge of the cockpit coaming?

I do not see any reference to this in the OD Rules, therefore it must be prohibited (unless it is counted against the personal crew gear weight limit and is removed to weigh the boat). Maybe the trim is described by the ISAF- (World Sailing-) agreed builder’s specification (which should be made available to the class membership).
