Lindsay Lord, NA (1903 – 1991)
The namesake of PYC’s race committee boat, (Samuel) Lindsay Lord was a well known naval architect with particular expertise in high-speed planing powerboat hulls. He lived much of his life in Falmouth Foreside.

This is now a few years old, but I think is not out of date (although the subject-du-jour has morphed from sustainable energy to the broader subject of climate change). A sign of how slowly things are progressing in this area.
