        The sail royalty change is in conflict with Association Rule 5A. Now Sherri and Shannon discussed this at the US level and decided that the recent Class Rule vote superseded the Association Rule, and that this conflict could be cleaned up administratively later (sometime). Maybe so, but I don’t think Robert’s Rules of Order would approve. Bylaw changes are supposed to be very specific with the exact wording being voted on by the members. Our Class rules are subservient to the Association Rules. A Class Rule change does not trickle up to the Association Rules, at least in the case of bylaws.
