Times of Sunset on Race Days:

Times of sunset are calculated based on chapter 15 of Astronomical Algorithms by Jean Meeus. The times of sunset published in the table below are calculated using a Python program derived from a solar calculations spreadsheet on a NOAA website.

These times are rounded to nearest minute to agree with US Naval Observatory table of sunrise/sunset (Note the comment on time zone below).
