The 2022 Lobster Bowl Regatta is complete, wrapping up the Etchells Fleet 27 racing season for 2022. This Lobster Bowl marks the 10th running of the annual regatta, which saw 23 boats competing in 6 races on Casco Bay over the weekend of September 17-18. The fleet saw a variety of wind conditions (and directions!) over the two days. Ten boats travelled from away (plus one visiting crew who chartered a local boat), and with Peter Scott and Vulcan attending from PEI, Canada, that makes the LBR once again an international event. Results from the LBR are found at Regattaman.
Thank you to Regatta Chairman Ehren Morse and the Butter Syndicate for organizing and running a superb event.
Also, many thanks to the volunteers who contributed their time to putting on the event. Special thanks to:
- Jimi Cullum & Team – Stellar R/C with very challenging shifts on Saturday! Spot on!
- Michael McAllister and SailMaine to launch and haul the away boats. All visiting boats were appreciative of the smooth process
- Jack Zinn, Jen Yahr, Willy Thomas, Kate Seremeth, Joe Seremeth for awesome support of the regatta
- Tim Tolford for running T2PTV’s Ashley and George around the race course.
