July 2nd rolled in with the first honest summer racing weather of the year – sun, shirt sleeves, shorts, and 15 Etchells on the line for 2 fine races in a light N breeze. Results are posted over on the Race Page. Thank you to the Butter syndicate for performing R/C while their boat gets repaired.
The Casco Bay Interclub Regatta is coming up Saturday, July 13th. Registration is on Regattaman by July 11th. The Fleet Captain would love to see 6+ Etchells on the line. For those not racing, there are many opportunities to run the races, serve as a PRO for the Opti/420/Laser line, two or three RC assistants, 2-4 mark boat people and some on land personnel, especially one to accept texts of OD scores and plug these into Regattaman while we are running the races offshore.
