2021 Pre-season Fleet Membership Meeting

Hear ye, hear ye. 

We are pleased to announce the semi-annual, in person — we hope — (with a Zoom backup) Etchells Fleet 27 membership meeting at the PYC on Tuesday, May 11. The meeting will start at 17:00. ALL COVID PROTOCOLS WILL BE FOLLOWED — masks and distance. There may be limits on the size of the meeting.

In advance of the meeting we will send you the NOR and SI’s as well as dues and launch costs.  Do bring your checkbooks. 

Topics for the meeting will include:

  • Fleet 27 launch date is May 15 beginning around 09:00 for our fleet. 
    • J24’s will start around 08:00. 
    • Etchells will be waiting on the tide. 
  • NOR and SI’s,
  • Race management,
  • Weekend racing,
  • Available Etchells parts, and
  • Our relationship with the Etchells Organization. 

We look forward to seeing all of you in person.  More information will be forthcoming as it becomes available.

    Calling all skippers and associates!

    As we get ready for our 2021 season, it’s time to register and pay dues. Attached is the registration form.

    This also includes a space for paying the group launch (May 15, 2021 HBS 9 AM) fee. In order to be eligible for the discounted group launch, you need to have paid your Fleet 27 dues. If you have paid the National $200 dues directly to the association, just indicate that on the form. Syndicates/co-owners need one skipper registration and associate membership for each syndicate or co-owner member.

    As in the past, please forward me your evidence of insurance as noted on the bottom of the form. I need to have that information before you can race.
