In case you have been wondering, this is what the new sail royalty button/tag looks like. No more sail cards. No more sail limits. Just these tags.
One would think that for $200 per year, that IECA would inform the membership what the sail button looks like. Maybe North Sails just made this button up out of whole cloth because IECA is still dithering on the button design. But, there has been no news from the head shed to let is know.

PYC Covid-19 safety protocols have disappeared again.

We are pleased to announce the semi-annual, in person — we hope — (with a Zoom backup) Etchells Fleet 27 membership meeting at the PYC on Tuesday, May 11. The meeting will start at 17:00. ALL COVID PROTOCOLS WILL BE FOLLOWED — masks and distance. There may be limits on the size of the meeting.

I am writing to inform you of a major development in the Etchells Class in the matter of Mould 11 (M11). As you know, for some time the International Governing Committee (IGC) have been reviewing the background to M11 and as I have previously advised we have been engaged with World Sailing (WS) to seek clarifications. One of the specific findings from our work is that WS do not recognize M11 as a Registered Mould for the construction of Etchells.
